Yallingup was built on the Leeuwin-Naturaliste National Park ridge. As a result it has beautiful views of the Yallingup Beach. The amazing surfing conditions have made this a very well known surfing town. The waters in the lagoon at Yallingup are crystal clear, for this reason it an ideal place for snorkeling and swimming. Smiths Beach and Injidup are also excellent surfing beaches that are very close to Yallingup.

Accommodation in Yallingup is very good because of an excellent hotel plus 2 caravan parks. There are cafes and several other places where you can obtain food after a busy day of exploring this area.
Yallingup is very close to many world class wineries where you can treat yourself to an excellent meal and fine wines. Caves road goes past Yallingup all the way down to Augusta. As you drive down this road you will pass some of Western Australia is Premier wine producing vineyards.
There are many excellent surfing places along this part of the coast including Smiths Beach, Super Tubes and Injidup. Travelling further down Caves Road you will come to Prevelly where the Margaret River Surfing Pro Championships are held each year.
